Aigro Up electrical robot weeding at tree cultivation

Self-driving continous weeding

The Aigro Up is an autonomous driving weeding robot. In other words, this vehicle is driving by itself continuously along the trees with a weeding tool.

The weeding tool attached when making this photo and video reportage is a tine harrow. The tine harrow is has an extra movement (left-right) via an electrical engine. Which you can see and hear in the movie of the Aigro Up below:

With swap-able batteries, this machine is flexible to keep on going. Already without swapping the batteries, running a day on electrical power should work at normal conditions.

Control the robot via 'any' phone, tablet, ...

In order to control the robot, a webapplication is available. This means that with basically any internet-connected device you're good to go for controlling this robot.

Therefore, at home you can enjoy a larger screen of your computer or tablet, meanwhile in the field you can start and stop and edit the operations via your smartphone.

The way to set-up the navigation of this robot can be done by re-using existing GPS information or by creating a new path to drive.
